I am having financial troubles. I saw this sight and would like to know if anyone has every used them and can help me with my concerns. They say negotiations are better than consolidating. That consolidating your debts is just as same as if you would declare on chapter 13. Is this true? They run your credit report for free if you say in a recording that it is being done with the purpose of purchasing a house. Is this liable? They say they work with B&D real estate and that is why you have to say the report will be used for the purpose of purchasing a home.

I am very concerned about giving personal info by phone.

99.99% of "debt negotiators" are a scam. They can't do anything you can't do. Handel on the Law covered this last month, he said such places just take your money.

I myself wouldn't trust them with a ten foot pole. They are asking you to violate the FTC regulations regarding the purpose of obtaining your credit report.

Avoid credit repair agencies that charge a fee to improve your FICO score by removing negative, but accurate, information from your credit reports. No one can force credit reporting agencies or lenders to remove accurate information from a credit report. Credit repair companies often take your money without delivering what they promise, or provide only temporary improvements of
your score, sometimes by removing accurate information that will reappear later.
